Peaches & Petals Subscription Box – September Review and Giveaway

Peaches and Petals All ContentsI will admit that I love subscription boxes. There is something special about getting a package each month with your name on it. The boxes contents are unknown until the box is unfurled and each content reveals itself.

I am excited to tell you that there is a new player in the subscription box arena – Peaches and Petals. This is a subscription box that caters to ‘fun. flirty, fashionable vintage and modern lifestyles’. What does that mean exactly? It means that each month you will receive 3-5 items hand selected by the Peaches and Petals curators that could include sunglasses, scarves, umbrellas, nail polish or/and avvintage piece of jewelry to name a few.

What I really like about this box is that it is not like the other boxes on the market and it is refreshing to see something different then the typical box offerings. It is obvious that Peaches & Petals is doing things different. The box was full of cute items and included the following:

Sunglasses ($10-$25.00):  These could not have come at a timelier time, as I was just thinking about purchasing a pair. I have never been a big sun glass person but as I get older I realize I must protect my peepers for as long as I can. There was a sticker on them that said “2/$15.00” which I would have liked to seen removed. Also, the sunglasses came with a branded bag, which while cool is a little misleading as the glasses and bag are different brands. That aside these were PERFECT for my style. which is simple, and at times classic. I have already put them in my car glove-box for use when I do daytime driving.

Umbrella closed and openBlue Skies Umbrella ($29.99): This is another case of coming at just the right time. Jason and I were literally discussing the acquisition of an umbrella less than a week before receipt of this box. I love that this is black on the outside and then under the umbrella is a bright cloudy sky scene. This will be used a lot this year I am sure, as they are predicting a El Nino style rain for us Southern California.

necklace and earingsAntique Brass Peacock Necklace and Triangle Weave Studs ($19.99): This is a necklace/earring set. The peacock is bright and moves as you move. This is a cute combo for peacock lovers. The earrings are perfect for my classic style, simple and understated.

Freeman and Herbal EssenceAsst Facial Masks (each/1.99): Enclosed in my box was Freeman’s Facial Exfoliating Scrub in Pink Grapefruit and Freeman Facial Lava Clay Mask in Cinnamon and Moroccan. The facial exfoliation smelled delicious and left my face feeling smooth, clean and refreshed. The mask is yet to be used but based on how good the pink grapefruit was I imagine this one is just as good.

Herbal Essences Dry Shampoo (1.7oz/$3.99): I used this dry shampoo one day when I was feeling like having clean hair without the fuss of getting the rest of me wet. This worked really well and I plan to purchase a full size bottle for myself.

This was packaged in a high-quality black box that I plan on re-purposing. The items were placed well in the box and fit nicely. Usually the box comes with a manifest/postcard, unfortunately my box was missing the postcard. I would have liked to see it, as I save them so I know where I got an item from. All that being said, I loved this box and look forward to seeing what else Peaches & Petals has in store for their subscribers . Also, with my coupon code below you can get your 1st months box for only $7.49 – less than a fast food lunch!

The total value of this box came to $66.55 – $81.55 with a $14.99 monthly cost equals a gain of almost $52.00  – at the least! The price variance is from the sunglasses – they have varying value from $10.00- $25.00. So depending on which pair you received will make the variance in value of the box.

Each monthly subscription are $14.99/month – pay as you go and shipping is included in the cost each month,
